Welcome to our website. By ordering from Lukka Boutique Cakes you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. If there are any questions regarding these terms please email us to clarify before placing an order. Terms and conditions subject to change without notice.
The “Seller” is defined as the Lukka Boutique Cakes. The “Buyer” means the person (legal or natural) who buys the goods. “Goods” is defined as the items to be supplied by the Seller to the Buyer as listed in this invoice.
These Terms and conditions shall apply to the sale of the Goods by the Seller to the Buyer to the exclusion of all other terms and conditions referred except where the Seller has agreed to such variation in writing and by way of signature. By ordering from Lukka Boutique Cakes you agree to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions and accept that these Conditions may be modified or amended and posted on this website from time to time.
The images on the website are examples of our cakes. All our products are hand made and can be ordered in different sizes from those shown on the website, your cake may have variations from the website image.
The price for your order is clearly stated and broken down on your order form. By agreeing to these terms and conditions you accept responsibility for paying the full balance shown on your order form.
A full payment is required to confirm a special orders. Payment can be made on your bank account after receiving an invoice from the Seller.
Online orders are not confirmed until an order confirmation has been sent by email confirming the order and the delivery date.
All credit/debit cardholders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses or for any reason does not, authorise payment to us, whether in advance of or subsequent to a payment, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery of the Products ordered.
Our website service permits you to purchase our Products from this Site. These purchases can be made and are permitted strictly pursuant to the terms and conditions set out below.
You may contact us directly for last minute availability.
Custom orders need at least 10 days notice. All orders will be shipped to the delivery address you provide. Please ensure the delivery address is correct. Please make sure the contact details supplied with your order are correct in case we need to contact you. After placing an order, you will receive an email from us. This email is an Order Confirmation to notify you of the fact we have received and accepted your order. The Order Confirmation email will be accompanied by an invoice. Your purchase order cannot be accepted until payment in full for the Products ordered has been received by us at which time a legally binding agreement on the terms set out herein will become effective.
REFUNDS AND CANCELLATION
All our cakes are made to order therefore we are unable to refund any pre-payments or deposits after you completed your payment. Refunds are made at the discretion of Lukka Boutique Cakes.
ALLERGIES AND SPECIAL DIETARY REQUIREMENTS
The Seller will provide all ingredients and allergen information with the order. Allergens can also be found on the product pages. It is the responsibility of the Buyer to inform the Seller any special condition and ensure the product is suitable for their own or the recipient’s consumption. The Seller agrees to provide all correct allergen information with the Goods and bears no responsibility for any allergic reactions arising from consuming the Goods when the Goods have been labelled with the correct allergen information online or with the delivery.
All Goods are made with milk, eggs, and wheat (gluten) and produced in a kitchen handling nuts and soya. Gluten free options are not suitable for coeliacs as they are made in an environment handling wheat flour.
DELIVERY AND COLLECTION
The Seller cannot be held liable for any damages to the Goods once they have been delivered and signed for or collected and signed for. If the products are collected it is the responsibility of the Buyer to transport them to the desired location safely. Delivery timings are approximate and cannot be guaranteed. Refunds will not be given for delayed deliveries. If in the unlikely event the delivery is delayed, the Seller will deliver the Goods to you as close as possible to the given delivery time.
We can deliver all around St Albans. We charge a flat rate for postcodes below for orders under £50;
- Local delivery for postcodes between AL1-AL4 is £5 ,
- Local delivery for postcodes between AL5-AL10 is £7.5
All orders abow to £50 is free for postcodes between AL1-AL10.
Our delivery times are Monday - Friday 9 am - 5 pm, Saturday 10 am - 1 pm. Special delivery times are Monday - Saturday 6 pm - 8 pm. You are however welcome to pick up order from our premises at an agreed time.
COVID-19 Deliveries – due to the current COVID-19 crisis we are operating contactless deliveries. Your order will be placed on your doorstep & we will step back 2m from the door to make sure the delivery has been received. Please ensure you have a contact number for the delivery address & that somebody is in to receive the delivery.
A shelf life will be provided on the Delivery Note. This is advisory only.
NON-EDIBLE INGREDIENTS OR DECORATIONS
Some Goods may contain non-edible ingredients or decorations, such as plastic dowels in tiered cakes or wires in some sugar flowers. These will be detailed on the Delivery Note and must be removed before serving or eating.
